That is why we are continually working to improve our processes to reduce pollution and waste, conserve natural resources and reduce potentially negative environmental impacts from our activities and operations.
Whenever we undertake a new project, we work to understand the environmental issues. Then we create a balanced plan that couples new energy development with innovative techniques to protect the locations where we operate. Fundamental to our operating philosophy is a commitment to adhere to the stricter of two standards: our own policies and principles or the regulations established by a particular state.

As part of our efforts to innovate and develop new technologies, we strive to use environmentally friendly procedures and materials when providing our services. In addition, we have comprehensive emergency response plans in place that address environmental concerns. All incidents that could affect the environment are dealt with immediately to ensure that they are properly contained and the environmental impact is minimized.

PSI crews receive comprehensive training in well control that meets and often exceeds the requirements and practices required by government or industry.
Reducing Engine Emissions
PSI vehicles represent the latest technology for achieving fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. Our crews are trained to carpool and consolidate trips whenever possible. We match each vehicle to the particular utilization in order to maximize the overall fuel efficiency of our fleet.
Operational Efficiency
PSI production testing equipment is designed to recycle production-testing emissions back into the production line and reduce or eliminate the flaring of hydrocarbons.
Recycling
We actively work to reduce, reuse, recycle and reclaim materials used in our operations. Recycling in particular is a priority for PSI and is a strict practice in all of our locations.
Work in Environmentally Sensitive Areas
PSI works in environmentally sensitive areas. In such instances, we work closely with our customers to ensure that any potential negative impacts of the planned operation are minimized or, where possible, eliminated entirely.
Water Usage and Handling Waste
Water supply and quality issues are typically the responsibility of the operating oil company. However, PSI manages waste to ensure that any products being transferred to upright and open-top tanks, are carefully monitored during the servicing of a well. Any spills are reported and mitigated quickly and are always contained onsite.
